Virtual Wizardry is the brainchild of Kat Barnes who, after 25 years of experience in the administrative field (and an admitted computer geek), decided it was time to offer that expertise to a wider audience.

Company history

Kat Barnes has been in the administrative field since graduating with high honors from Casco Bay College with certification in Executive Secretarial Sciences, and has been a computer geek since getting her first IBM XT machine in 1983. She has gone on to work as an Executive Assistant to the Sr. Vice President of one of the fastest growing biotech companies in the early 2000's before relocating to the Phoenix area, and she has been known to build her own PC from scratch. Known by friends and co-workers as the "go-to gal", Kat has trained from one to one hundred people at a time in the use of new software; researched, purchased and created a user manual for a DVD player for a techno-phobic friend; hooked up complicated stereo/DVD/CD/TV systems that baffled family and friends alike; and created hair and smoothed wrinkles on the important photos of friends who are "much younger than they look".
